Tyrone McDonald Obituary
Tyrone McDonald, age 59 of St. Louis Missouri (after a short and unexpected illness) passed away peacefully on August 12, 2020. At an early age he confessed his life to Christ and was baptized by the late Bishop P. L. Scott at Lively Stone Church of God. Tyrone was affectionately known as Squeaky by his family and friends.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 23, 1960 to the proud parents of John McDonald Jr. and Linda McDonald. He was educated in the St. Louis Public School System where he attended Ashland Elementary and Beaumont High School. He also attended O’Fallon Technical High School where he learned the trade of Printing.
He was once employed with the St. Louis Center. He was earlier employed with the Walmart Automotive Center while residing in Texas with his sister Drena and brother-in-law Roy. His favorite hobby was cutting his friends and his family member’s hair.
Tyrone (although a quiet and private person) enjoyed listening to musical artists and watching football and basketball. He truly enjoyed playing video games (especially with his niece Shanobie and his great-nephew Elias). Tyrone “Squeaky” is survived by his mother Linda McDonald, two brothers Jerome McDonald and Rickey McDonald (all of St. Louis, Missouri), a sister Adrane “Drena” McDonald-Neal and one brother -in-law Roy Neal, one niece Shanobie Neal (Daqwonn Gray), one great-nephew Elias Gray, one great-niece Eleiyah Gray (all of Woodbridge, Virginia), two dearly devoted cousins Wilbert Johnson Jr. and Mitchell Hampton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his father John McDonald Jr., his grandparents John Sr. and Mahalie McDonald and great-grandparents William “Big Papa” and Mamie “Big Mama” Hampton, two Aunts Yvonne McDonald and Jeanette Barksdale and one Uncle Lewis Barksdale. It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Tyrone McDonald.
