He was predeceased by: his sister Colleen. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his daughter Erin Tyree (Stephen); his adoptive children, Tony Huynh (Thao) and Kim Sorsueb; his grandchildren, Jenny, Tonya, Trenton and Aidan; his sister Maureen Rider (Jeff); and his friend Cap'n Tom.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gleaners Community Foodbank, serving Southeastern Michigan, or the ministries of Restore St. Louis.
