He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Skaggs and Gladys Skaggs; and his wife Marilyn Skaggs. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Grillo (Jim), Lynda Kniepmann (Rod) and Cynthia Becker (Thomas); his grandchildren, Allyson Dillon (Luke), John Grillo (Jess Breen), Ryan Kniepmann (Jenny) and Andrew Kniepmann (Paige); and his great grandchild Nicholas Dillon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary - Kirkwood (10301 Big Bend Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (10301 Big Bend Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122).
