He was predeceased by: his sister Andrea Cohen (late Melvin); and his parents, Saul Cohen and Fay Cohen. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stephenson Harlow Cohen; his children, Brett Lippel (Leslie), Jordan Lippel (Sherry), Sean Cohen (Dee), Jennifer Cohen and Barbara Eckert (Tom); his stepson Stephen Harlow; his grandchildren, Maximillian, Sophia, Chase Lippel, Jacob, Elizabeth Lippel, Taylor Alsup, Nicholas Cohen, Emily Cohen, Alexander Cohen, Kathleen and Joseph Rigdon; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandra, Faith and Jordan Harlow; his great grandchild Noah Rigdon; his stepgreat-granddaughter Iris Harlow; his brother Steven Cohen (Robin); and his siblings-in-law, Jacquie Vaughn (late Larry) and Gary Stephenson (Janine).
Due to COVID-19, the service for Sylvan will be a private family service on Thursday, March 4.
