She was predeceased by: her parents, Paris "Ted" Ashmore and Ruth Ashmore; her husband William Ray "Bill" Simington; and her sister Jeanette "Jenny" Sartors. She is survived by: her children, Daryl Simington (Melanie) and Jeff Simington (Brenda); her grandchildren, Jordan Simington (Jessie), Jarrod Simington, Ryan Simington and Greg Simington; and her great grandchildren, Hayley, Julia and Lindsey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Chapel (9255 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis, MO 63134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:20 AM. A procession will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:35 AM at the Sylvan Springs Park (300 Halsey St, St. Louis, MO 63125). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:15 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
