He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Edler; and his brother-in-law Dan Liebman. He is survived by: his mother Harriet Edler; his wife Janine R. Edler; his sons, Garrett Edler (Alexandra) and Connor Edler (Danielle); his granddaughter Brooklyn; his brother David Edler (Terri); his nieces and nephews, Chris Edler (Heather), Sarah Edler, Julia Max, Ryan Max (Maria Sharpe), David Sloand (Bianca Zhang), Colin Sloand (Caye) and Meaghan Reidy (Sean); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Jim Sloand (Mary Ann), Laura Max (Dan Brauchle) and Joe Liebman. He is also survived by relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel (4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129). A Mass was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church (9740 Sappington Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128).
