She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Gerchen; her parents, Isadore Riezman and Faye Riezman; her brother Samuel Riezman (late Alice); and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Gerchen (late Irma) and Martin Gerchen.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Portnoy (Rob), David Gerchen (Ruth) and Bob Gerchen (Robin Hancock); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Portnoy (Katrina), Annalise Webb, Joseph Gerchen (Staci), Michelle Gerchen, Steven Gerchen, Alexandra Gerchen and Jean-Martin Gerchen.
