She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Lewis and Mary Pauline Moore; her former husband Maurice Duke; her daughter Aurrice Duke-Rollings; her son-in-law Michael Rollings of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Jessica Rollings Taylor (Ben Taylor), Emily, Elisabeth and Ben Rollings; her nieces, Danièle Moore Lambert (Guy Lambert) of Montreal and Carmen Rice King (Darryl King); and her nephew John Rice (Shunate) of Birmingham.
The family has suggested memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
