With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Barnes of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della DeWitt and Ralph DeWitt; her husband John F. Barnes; her son Michael Barnes; and her parents-in-law, Semma and Daisy Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Stewart, Patty Howlett (Clay), Kenny Barnes (Lisa) and Mark Barnes; her daughter-in-law Jackie Barnes of Rolla, MO.; her grandchildren, Brent Stewart (Tracey), Kristina Bradshaw (Corey), Lori Woods (Brad), Teresa Bleckman (Brian), Scott Barnes (Brandy), Amy Cuneio (Doug), Chadwick Barnes (Alina) and Emily Ball (Jeremy); and her siblings, Louise Grimsley, Jane Rastl, Betty Hahs, Nancy Crader, Charles DeWitt and John DeWitt.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Greentree Christian Church (Youth Ministries).
