She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brandon and Opal Provance Brandon; her husband Willard Freeman Gales; and her siblings, Prima "Donna" Head, Billy Brandon, Freddie Paul Brandon, Bobby Herold Brandon, Wanda Irene Carter, James Auzy Brandon, Elvis "Lloyd" Brandon, Glenda Sue Court and Sharon Kay Nash.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce M. Gales of St. Louis and Melissa R. Byrne of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Katherine Severtsen of St. Louis, Samantha J. Gales of St. Louis, Danny Byrne of St. Louis, Spencer Byrne of St. Louis, Zach Spencer of St. Louis and Dylan Gales of St. Louis; and her great grandchildren, Emma Rose Severtsen and Hannah Jane Severtsen.
