He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo Ann Claywell (Emery); his children, Michael Claywell (Victoria) and Tracy Claywell Williams; his grandchildren, Patrick Claywell, Ashley Vanausdoll (Chris) and Brittany Williams; his great grandchildren, Jerra and Emery Vanausdoll; his sister Carol Bourbon; and his parents, Horace and Eva (Hodge). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patrick Claywell, 81 of St. Louis died on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Bethesda Dilworth Hospice Care following a 22-year fight with Parkinson's disease.
