Opal Cook Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2020, at the age of 88, Opal Cook of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Havana, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Earl Gene Defenbaugh; her husband Bill Cook; and her sister-in-law Mary Defenbaugh (Chuck Duffy). She is survived by: her close friend Mike Seller; her daughters, Cindy Gant (Kevin) and Stephanie Wilson (Thad); her grandchildren, Brooke LaPosta (Chris) of Tulsa, Oklahoma., Abby Clevenger (Lane) of Tulsa, Oklahoma., Tony Scardino, IV (Alison) of Tulsa, Oklahoma., Jeff Scardino (Natalie) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. and Emma Bethel (Alan) of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Hudson, Titus Clevenger, Carter, Brody LaPosta, Tony, Sophie Scardino, Piper, Liam, Collins Scardino, Ace and Violet Lucille Bethel; her grandchildren, Taylor and Madeline Wilson; her nephew Brad (Kristy Defenbaugh); her niece Debbie Defenbaugh; and her great-niece Kayleigh Defenbaugh of The Woodlands.
In Lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Friends of Riverside Park and Zoo (FORPAZ) or The First United Methodist Church in Lucille's name.
