He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth George; his father-in-law Eugene; and his nephew Adam Herbst. He is survived by: his wife Danette H. George; his father Larry George (Karen); his brother Robert George (Kim) of Ohio; his mother-in-law Dorothy Herbst; his siblings-in-law, Darrell Herbst (Ronda), Dennis Herbst (Mary) and Darla Herbst; and his nieces and nephews, Darrell, Jr. Herbst (Dawn), Derek Herbst (Deanne), Matt Herbst (Marissa), Amanda Struckmeyer (Sean), Luke Heisele (Sarah) and Kristen Lynch.
