It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Geilhausen of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Jean Geilhausen (Morgan) and William Joseph Geilhausen. He is survived by: his sister Cindy Jo Robinson of Centralia, Illinois; his nephew Jonathan Robinson (Justine) of Saint Peters, Missouri; his niece Casey Reed (Phil) of Chesterfield, Missouri; his great-nephew Joseph Robinson; and his great-nieces, Lilith Robinson and Penelope Reed.

The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Geilhausen's honor to Saint Louis Art Museum in Saint Louis, Missouri and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.

We worked together for nearly 20 years at Lightolier and I always appreciated his intelligence, work ethic and drive. However, mostly I appreciated his sense of humor and the way he was a unique character in this life.
