Melburne Soles Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melburne Soles of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melburne Roy Soles and Anna Belle Soles (Robinson); his wife Grace Mildred Lovelidge; his son David Alfred Soles; and his siblings, Wayne M. Soles, Bailey Soles (Dollie), Charles Soles, Billy Soles (Hattie), Eugene Soles, Mardellya Anders (Leslie) and Nellie Belle Owens (Bill).
He is survived by: his son Richard Melburne Soles (Donna); his sister Naomi Carter; and his sister-in-law Della Soles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hadley Funeral Home (405 E Benton St, Windsor, MO 65360). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family suggests contributions to the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church 130th Anniversary Fund (checks payable to Oak Hill Presbyterian Church) in care of the funeral home.
