It is with great sadness that we announce the death of May K. Johnson formerly of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nolar Powell and Lonnie Powell; her spouse Byron Rusan Johnson of Davenport, IA; her daughters, Erin Johnson, Audrey Lynn Johnson and April Webber; her grandchildren, Kendricks Sheppard, Shjmelia Owens, Azjaynee Owens-Bey, Dejuana Snowden, Devante Devrouax, Amatullah Rayford, Aunye Christian, Angel Christian and Asyah Christian; her great grandchildren, Shania Huey, Malachi Sheppard, Qze Johnson Owens-Bey, Nina Johnson and Amaria Rayford; and her brothers, James O. Powell (Alethea) and Willis H. Gibson (Esther).
