With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mattie V. Coleman (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in Cottage Grove, Tennessee, who passed away on June 18, 2020 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Bennett and Hannie Bennett (Jackson); her son Keith; and her siblings, Captora Bennett, Stanley Bennett, LaVerne Bennett, Katie Bennett, George Bennett and Roy Bennett.

She is survived by: her children, George (Linda) and Jacqueline; her brother Charlie Bennett; her grandchildren, Charonda, Raquel (Deaundre) and Brittany (Darnell); her great grandchildren, Jerrica, Maya, Jeremiah and Theodore; and her great great grandchildren, Zniah and Zneah. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
