She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Bender, Jr.; her brothers, Bob Brown (Norma), Jim and Joseph Brown (Rebecca); and her parents, William F. Brown and Lucy Morris Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, William Charles Bender (Susan), John Stuart Bender (Diane), Daniel Thomas Bender (late Deborah), Robert Edward Bender (Linda) and Rev. James Frederick Bender (Janice); her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Chylinski (Ryan), Stacy Hurd (Justin), Dr. Annah Bender (Cory Bradley), Dr. Elijah Bender, Ellen Bonnel (Andrew), Justin Bender (Abbey), Samuel Bender (Kerry), Caleb Bender, Seth Bender, Teddy Bender, Micah Bender and Zechariah Bender; her great grandchildren, Zoe Chylinski, Easton Albrecht, Lantz Albrecht, Elijah Bender-Bradley, Thurston Bender-Bradley, Danika Bender, Kaya Bender, Oliver Bonnel, Owen Bonnel, Gavin Bender (Omari), Lincoln Bender, Grace Bender, Tristan Bender and Caspian Bender; and her great great grandchild Mason.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel (1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
