He is survived by: his children, Bruce Sandweiss (Caryn), Tracy Mellring (Paul), Steve Sandweiss (Joyce), Lauren Brenner (Jeremy), Jeremy Levinson (Stephanie), Sydney Stein, Jacob Sandweiss, Nick, Megan, Matthew Mellring, Sarabeth, Nato and Zosia Sandweiss; his great grandchildren, Max, Ari Brenner, Callie Rose Levinson and Noah Stein; his siblings-in-law, Barbara, Norman Hausfater, Rick Schuchet (late Mimi), Margo and Frank Miskit; and his grandson Nick.
