With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Dee Jakoubek of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Monrovia, California, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurber Grimes and Evelyn Grimes; and her brothers, James D. Grimes (Survived), Rodney M. Grimes (Survived) and Huntleigh Grimes (Survived).
She is survived by: her husband Arthur L. Jakoubek; her children, Rodney "Mike" M. Jakoubek (Gail) and Kelly Rogers; her grandchildren, Stacy Smith and Jessica Boone (Kenneth); her great grandchildren, Clayton, Ella, Gracie Smith, Rudy and Reggie Boone; and her brothers, Franklin Grimes (Maureen) and David Dyas. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marlene's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
