In the vast expanse of eternity, Mark shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mark farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his mother Helen; his sister Tammy Lou Hopper; his nephew Benjamin Thomas "Ben" Hopper; and his grandparents, John, Vada Samons Hopper, Thomas Ira and Jimmie Dale Cozart Burkett.

He is survived by: his adoptive father Chester O. (Helen Louise Burkett Hopper); his father Chester of Charleston; his sister Louella Davis of Henderson, KY; and his nieces, Tonya and Tiffany.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMikle Funeral Home (201 S Center St, Charleston, MO 63834).

“I worked with Mark at Graybar. He was so much fun. I had him for secret santa one year and we had the best time finding out who killed the elf with the candy cane. He would always offer a helping hand, or ear. I am blessed to have known him. I will miss him. Linda Kuchta”
