She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherlean "Katherine" Johnson Carlisle and Willie James Carlisle Sr.; her son Richard Glenn Carlisle; her sister Katherine Gladny; her grandmother Ella Carlisle; her brothers, Julius Wise Carlisle and Ben Chester Carlisle; her grandchildren, Frederick Glenn Perkins and Runita Staria Hardy Marie; and her daughters, Anita Carlisle (Hardy) and Jean Marie Carlisle (Johnson).
She is survived by: her siblings, Janie, Sadie, Willie and Sam; and her grandchildren, Runanda Newland (Keith Sr.), Russell Hardy Jr. (Lisa), Richard Hardy, Robert Hardy, Joseph Johnson Jr. and Rejeana Marie Johnson. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
