Margie A. Kessler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2024, at the age of 97, Margie A. Kessler of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schroeder and Marguerite Schroeder (Hieber); her husband Henry "Hank" Kessler Jr.; her granddaughter Sarah Kessler; her sister Norma; and her brother-in-law Dean Calvert.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Bitzer of Edwardsville, IL, Donna (Harvey Rieder), Linda (Monte Thus), Debra Roth of Virginia, Susan (Daniel Koger), Henry (Diana Kessler III) and Garrett Kessler of Virginia. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Maryville or to Crosspoint Church of St. Louis and may be accepted at the funeral chapel. Keep Margie's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
