She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl P. Wagoner and Mildred E. Wagoner (Steele); her spouse Lieutenant Murray D; her sons, Gary D. Strong (Peggy) of Post Falls and Craig L. Strong (Judy) of Asheville; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Micah, Morgan and Colin. She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren.
The family asks that any voluntary contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in lieu of flowers or other memorials.
