“I am so sad to learn of Marcia’s passing. I was a newer friend but we hit it off right away. I complimented her on her hair at Whole Foods. We talked two hours that day and became fast friends. Over the past several months, I emailed, texted and called. When her cell was off, my heart sank. To Marcia’s son…I know she loved you very much. I am deeply sorry for your loss and am so upset with myself for not trying harder to reach her. We had “matching” birds. Mine makes me think of her!”

“I work at the University City Public Library where Marcia was quite a "regular". Although everyone in the library knew her and certainly loved seeing her, she and I seemed to have a unique connection. We adored children (at the time we were both teaching), shared a passion for inclusion and loved dogs....especially dachshunds. We each owned one and could endlessly exchange stories about their sweet antics. Marcia was a great person and will be missed at the UCPL. I am so sorry for your loss.”
