She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Q. Sr. Casteel and Jean Mary Louise Casteel; her husband Carl A. Bailey, Sr.; her sons, Carl A. Bailey II (Chip) and Kris Bailey; her daughter-in-law Anne Bailey; her grandchildren, Morganne Bailey and Jack Dawson Bailey; her siblings, Alice Cass (Steven), Mary Methe (Terry), Margaret Henneberry (Vince), Walter Casteel Jr. (Helen), David Casteel (Cheryl), Martha Casteel, Thelma Jones (Bob) and Jeanne Casteel; and her grandmothers, Mammy, Addie and Pollyanna.

Memorials may be made in Lorie's honor to The Siteman Cancer Center of St. Louis.
