She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Lewis Jonas Umstead Sr. and Lola Katherine Jordan Umstead; her brothers, John, Donald, Virgil, Jr. and James; her grandparents, Linnie, David Dyer, Professor Lewis Jonas and Mary Umstead; her daughters, Lauren Nicole, Erika Monique and Heather Natrice; her stepson Lance; her grandchildren, Joe'll, Raniya, Kenyae, Kennedy, Arianna, Amaiya, Aaliyah and Avah; her great grandchildren, Kaiden and Kaisee; her stepgrandson Lance, Jr.; her sister Charlotte; and her sisters-in-law, Susie and Jeanette. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
