She was predeceased by: her grandson Jeffrey Scott McCombs; her parents, Roy Banks and Gerthea Banks; and her siblings, Bert Gibson Banks (Nople), Lela Faye Snow (Russell) and Althea Nelson (Herman).

She is survived by: her husband George Cleveland McCombs; her children, Bennie Leo McCombs (Mary), Max Wayne McCombs (Molley) and Karla Darlene Davis (David); her grandchildren, Christopher Ryan McCombs (Bridget), Micah Banks McCombs (Kelly), Rachel Per-Lee McCombs, Laura Nichole Day (Matt), Natalie Kristine Carmouche (Kelly) and Daniel Benjamin Davis; her great grandchildren, James McCombs, Annabelle McCombs, Anthony McCombs, Michael Pierson, Savanna McCombs, Dartanian McCombs, Grace McCombs, Miles McCombs, Elle Day, Rose Day, Jude Carmouche and Ava Carmouche; and her great great grandchildren, Ezekiel McCombs and Reilly Pierson.
