He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Springer and Louise Springer; and his sister Louise. He is survived by: his children, Troy Torrez and Deanne Springer; his grandchildren, Pop, Timothy and Diego Torrez; and his sisters, Lucille Pricer and Loretta Rahm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sacred Heart Villa preschool on The Hill.
