He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leonardo I, Mariuzza Impellizzeri, Paul and Clara Schuchardt; his parents, Leonardo Impellizzeri II and Fern Schuchardt; and his brother Paul "Jerry" Impellizzeri.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Pisani Impellizzeri; his sister Marie "Toni" Gross; and his children, Lenny Impellizzeri, Sharon Impellizzeri Haskell, Philip Impellizzeri and Marisa Impellizzeri Newman. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson's (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church (1104 S 6th St, Louisville, KY 40203). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Floydsurg Cemetery.
