He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ephraim Renz and Gladys Renz (Bane); his sister Shirley Holmes; and his children, David (Sandra Renz), Gary (Susan Swierkos), Brian (Karen Kelly) and Lisa (James Swyers). He was also cherished by his eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cabeza Prieta Natural History Association in Ajo.
