He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Suzanne "Skippy" Keefer; his children, Lee "Bo" Keefer, Jr. (Kathy) and Nancy Schmer (Frank); his grandchildren, Victoria Lawson (Johnny), Peter Sussman, Lily Molina, Jane Gibaut (Ian), Louise Keefer, Anna Anthon (A. J.), Sophie Molina, Haley Schmer, Koby Schmer and Suzanne Keefer; and his great grandchild Louise Rose Gibaut.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee's memory to WGSD - The Community Legacy Wall or John Burroughs School Athletics would be greatly appreciated by his family.
