She was predeceased by: her parents, Husie Blackman and Clauzella Haynes-Taylor; her son Efrem Lee; her cousins, Linda Miller Sease, Calvin Miller (Cathy), Larry Miller, John Miller and LaKeisha Adams; her aunt Jean Bradley of Dallas, TX; her goddaughters, Rochelle Clash and Starkeshia Neal; and her friends, Lea Daniels-Moore, Francine Stevens, Beverly Jackson, Edward and Janice Wood.
She is survived by: her uncle Leonard; her spouse Drafton Lee; her uncle John; her aunt Arlena Miller; her son Jonathan O. Ward Sr. (Jomicka) of Louisville, KY; her grandson Jonathan O. Ward Jr. (Mary Williams); her siblings, Scottie Mae Haynes, Mary Haynes, Cammie Taylor, Husie Blackman, Billy Taylor (Melinda), Herbert Taylor (Linda), Leonard Blackman (Jackie), Ralph Taylor (Linda) and Veronica Haynes; and her aunts, Ophelia Covington and Amy Hollins.
