Laverne Ramatowski-Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 91, Laverne Ramatowski-Smith of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Ramatowski; her parents, Louis Short and Celeste Short; her grandson Bradley Bowman; and her sister Lillian.

She is survived by: her children, Lin, Don Ramatowski (Kim), Mary Stehlin (Mark), Cheryl Shargel and Robert Ramatowski (Judy); her grandchildren, Eddie Ramatowski (Summer Shelton), Brandon Schenk (Tracey), Brett Stehlin, Adam Stehlin (Ruth), Brianna Thomas (Luke), Thomas Ramatowski (Jacqueline Vogel), Caitlin Pitts (Eric), Abby Ramatowski, Kayle Pierce and Travis Thorpe; her great grandchildren, Brantley Schenk, Dakota Schenk, Birklee Thomas, Desmond Pitts, Melody Pitts and Flora Pitts; and her siblings, Louis Short, Jr. (Sharon), Faye and Doris Short.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Baue Funeral Homes does require all family members and guests to wear a mask while visiting our facilities. Social distancing is required, and guests should stay at least 6 feet apart.
