We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 74, John Reed (Saint Louis, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his stepfather Freedman Watson; his grandparents, William Henry, Sr. and Pernella Jones; his cousin Hilda Blanks; and his siblings, Henry Watson, Chester Bryant and Peggy Lampkin.

He is survived by : his former life partner Phyllis Moorehead; his wife Linda Reed; his children, Melody ReedFoggie, Tanya Clardy (Chris), John Maurice Reed (Patricia) and Charles Redden (Demetra); his mother-in-law Thelma Johnson; his grandchildren, James, Kellie, Donavan, Cameron, Jordan, Devin, Bailey, Jaxon, Charissa and Jazmine; his siblings, Willie Gibson (Marva), Elouise Gibson-Taylor (Melvin Special Friend) and Liza Wynn (Frank); his siblings-in-law, Raymond Dumas (Gail), Harold Dumas (Gwen), Gwen Edwards, Pamala Perryman, Janis Dumas and Sarah McKeever (Anthony); and his close friends, Joseph Bridges and Nathan McCloud. He is also survived by loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He bowled in many leagues in the St. Louis area until Covid forced the closure of the bowling lanes.
