It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Evans of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joann Evans to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Joseph; and her siblings, Joseph Bohac, Frank Bohac and Ellen Bohac. She is survived by: her brothers, Charles Bohac and John Bohac; her stepchildren, Deborah Evans (Michael), Christine Gerling (Michael), James Evans (Joyce) and Teresa Hopper (Chris); her stepgrandchildren, Britny Doyle (Richard), Stephanie, Michael Gerling, Jessica, Jason Evans, Tyler and Katelynn Carter; and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Alexandra and Charlotte Doyle. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired or St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic School.

“Dear Evan's family, My family and I were in disbelief when we heard that Joann had passed away. Her brother ,Chick, is my brother in law. Two months ago we saw her and talked to her at my sister's wake. The first time I met Joann, I was 8 and she was 12. She was much to young to be taken away from her family. The Evan's and Bohac families are in our prayers. ❤”
