He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Ruth; his siblings, Ruth Nochta, Virginia Edmonson and Ross; and his sons, John and Jerry Munro.

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Munro (Lisa) of Troy, IL, Jane Crum (Jess) of Edwardsville, IL, Cris Munro of Glen Carbon, IL, Sherry Munro of Benld, IL, Brian Foree of Troy, IL and Kathleen Joyce (Bobby) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Joel Munro (Heather), Colin Munro (Elizabeth), Brian Alderson (Allie), Nicole Thompson (Ben), Danny Munro (Sami), Jeremy Bailey (Tracy), Amanda Harshbarger (Billy), Tavis Munro (Sara), Joshua Crum, Melissa Davies (Aaron), Brandon Jones, Courtney Olson, Clayton Jones, Matthew Foree and J. D. Foree; and his siblings, Ethel Murphy, Delores Hermanson, Norma Croissant (Adrian) and Earl Murno (Judy). He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
