Jim Blum Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Blum (Saint Louis, Missouri), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Blum to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Blum and Bertha Blum; his parents-in-law, Michael and Felicia Amantea; and his brother-in-law Michael Amantea.

He is survived by: his wife Annie Amantea Blum; his children, Angela Blum and Paul Blum (Jamie); his grandchildren, Codie, Brandon and Dominic; his sibling-in-law Marylu Amantea; his cousin Tom McNamara (Barbara); and his nephews, Michael and Matthew Amantea.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Joseph (1220 N 11th St, St. Louis, MO 63106).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Captain Jim's memory to the Shrine of St. Joseph Organ Endowment Fund would be greatly appreciated by his family.
