She was predeceased by: her daughter Joan; her siblings, Mary "Pat" Whitman and Sam Patania; and her nephew Bobby. She is survived by: her child Dale; her grandchildren, Jeff, Carrie, Greg and Charlie; her nieces and nephews, Harvey, Tom, Donna and Christina; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Liam, Isabel, Eva and Anna.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Meals on Wheels, St. Ambrose, or the St. Louis Activity Center.
