She was predeceased by: her parents, James Durkin and Lillian Durkin; her husband John Bennett; and her sister Dee Maghera. She is survived by: her children, John "Dallas" Bennett of New Haven, MO and Jeannine Eckelkamp (Doug Eckelkamp) of Washington, MO; and her granddaughter Jeannae Young (Elijah) of Krakow, MO. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter NA.
