He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Edward Specking and Laura Elizabeth Specking; his son-in-law Larry Lesley; and his siblings, Bernard Specking, Sr., Martha Horne and Mary Specking.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene Specking of Robertsville, MO; and his children, Richard Specking (Catrina) of Warrenton, MO, Timothy Specking (Cindy) of Richwoods, MO and Cynthia Lesley of Robertsville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
