He is survived by: his wife Kathleen of St. Louis; his daughters, Kristin Papek (Brent) of Scottsdale, Ariz and Kelly Phoenix (Craig) of Waterloo, Ill.; his siblings, Dennis Berger (Bobbie) of Owensville, Barry Berger (Tyra) of Wichita, Kans and Cindy Homeyer (Bill) of Owensville; and his grandchildren, Willow, Amos, Cedar, Luna and Archer.

Memorials requested for Oasis International supporting refugees in St. Louis or family's choice that will be kept for local charities in Owensville/Rosebud/Drake.
