He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Featherston and Lettie Featherston (Ewing); his son James Howell Featherston, Jr.; and his sister Donna Featherston Timms. He is survived by: his wife Janita (Wescoat); his brother Bob Featherston (Judy); his daughter-in-law Patti Featherston Wood; his grandchildren, Amber Reynolds Ashley (Chris), Nicholas Featherston (Caitlin), Anna Castles (Bobby), Natalie Featherston and Trey Featherston; his great grandchildren, Carter Reynolds, Adeline Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Briley Reynolds and Kraiden Moore; and also Jerry Featherston (Lisa).

We are continuing to serve families during the COVID-19 crisis, however some of our options are limited.

As a high school kid I sort of felt like an "adopted Featherston" as Vernie and Lettie were so gracious to me. I grieve with all of the family and you are in my prayers!”
