He is survived by: his wife Susan Steinbach Bivins; his children, Dr. Kathy Lehman-Schletewitz (Paul) and Kim Kirby (Robert); his grandchildren, Shawn Kirby, Joy Beardwood (David), Josiah Schletewitz (Emma) and Claire Schletewitz; his great grandchild Samuel James Beardwood; and his sibling-in-law Freddie Steinbach (Patty).
