James E. Frey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James E. Frey of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in McLeansboro, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene L. Frey and Monica D. Frey; his sister Madonna; his parents-in-law, Edward J. and Peggy M. Nestor; and his brother-in-law Edward M. Nestor.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Kelly Suellentrop (Kurtis), Beth McCarthy (Ryan) and Kevin Frey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Grace, Michael, Molly, Kate, Maggie and Jeremy; and his brothers, Alan and Don Frey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bopp Chapel (10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (415 Weidman Rd, Manchester, MO 63011).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Rock Steady Boxing, where he spent years giving Parkinsons Disease a taste of the old Jim Frey fighting spirit.
