With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Elisabeth Goertz in Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Hillsboro, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophilus D. Goertz and Agnes Goertz; her siblings, Kenneth Goertz and JoAnn R. Sheppard; and her friend Shirley M. Schmidt.
She is survived by: her nephew Joseph D. Sheppard (JD); and her nieces, Ramona L. Sheppard and Angela Ellerbusch (Sheppard).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (6199 Waterman Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63112).
Memorial donations are suggested to grace United Methodist Church, Home Sweet Home in Maplewood, MO or the Shepherd's Center in Webster Groves, MO.
