She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leona Hatcher Doak Austin (Sanders) and John Leroy Austin; her significant other James Devance; her children, Leon Eugene, Larry Romel and Donita Michele; and her grandsons, Sandile, Khari and Yimani. She was also cherished by husband of almost 65 years, two sons, a daughter, three grandsons, and a host of cherished cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Living God (1610 S Florissant Rd, St. Louis, MO 63121). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Valhalla Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Cemetery (7600 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Louis, MO 63133).
