He was predeceased by: his wife Mary C. Lanfersieck; his parents, Harry Lanfersieck and Cecelia Lanfersieck; his sister Violet Lohse; and his grandson John Reinhart.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Knobeloch (Will), Laura Lister (Bill), Diane Reinhart (John), Harry Lanfersieck (Michele), Mark Lanfersieck (Tammy), Lisa Carr (Dave) and Bob Lanfersieck (Roxanne). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
