He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shackelford and Dorothy Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shackelford; his children, John Shackelford, Donald Shackelford (Stephanie) and Nancy "Patty" Shackelford Smith (Willie); and his grandchildren, Tabitha, Tia and Dominic Smith.
