He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wood and Marie Ruth Nisbet (Ryan); his wife Clotilda Elise Nisbet (Dryden); his son Michael William Nisbet; his siblings, Mary Ellen (Bob Gumbel), John W. "Jack" Nisbet, Carolyn (Jack Brown) and William W. "Bill" Nisbet; his children, Richard Alan "Rick" Nisbet (Lori), Janet Marie Sibenaller (Mike), George Robert Nisbet, Virginia Marie "Ginny" Savage (Scott), Angela Marie "Angie" Schilly (Tom) and Patrick Joseph "Pat" Nisbet (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicolas Nisbet, Philip Sibenaller (Taylor), Nicholas Sibenaller, Kate Schiller (Josiah), Greg Sibenaller (Beth), Beth Sibenaller, Rick Savage (Lacy), Kristen Harris (Jonathan), Kelci Piskulich (Zeke), Tyler Schilly, Haley Schilly, Colin Schilly, Caleb Schilly, Allison Nisbet, Joe Nisbet and Dan Nisbet.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Alaina, Charli, Kinley, Emery, Will, Jo, Dominic Sibenaller, Michael Sibenaller, Gregory Harris and Russell Savage; his sisters-in-law, Illa Mae Nisbet and Mary Nisbet; and his sisters, Constance Dryden, Carmelite Anderson (Rod), Anne Dryden, Rosemary Dryden and Maryanna Dryden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ortmann Funeral Home (9222 Lackland Rd, Overland, MO 63114). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (8240 Washington St, St. Louis, MO 63114). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
